It’s pretty cool to have all this attention in the city with both Biden and the Royals. Why the hate??

Attention gives me no benefit. Their presence generates obstruction and inconvenience which is a non-benefit.

Oh right I forgot we were supposed to ask you first.

Well I mean that does apply to everyone who lives in the city, it is not exactly a unique perspective.

... No, but you literally asked the question "Why the hate". I'm just answering.

Yeah my street is being completely closed so they can visit a park. NOTHING was said about this until yesterday, and only businesses were directly informed- the rest of us, even the board of the neighborhood association, only found out when someone from one of those businesses posted in a group asking if anyone knew more. All they were told was the street would be closed sometime between 10 and 6, and as of this afternoon there still isn't much more information despite getting our city councilor involved. Apparently specifics can't be given for security reasons- they won't even confirm that the street IS the one being closed, even though there are no standing signs up now and no others would make sense.

Traffic. Makes everyone have to sit in traffic for no additional benefits.

It’s literally at city hall today. If you have to be in that area you should take the T anyways if you are physically able
