Don't get me wrong, I love Riverview, but it's not bar pizza. Bar pizza is baked in shallow pans and topped with a cheddar/mozzarella blend. Riverview's pizza is panless and purely mozzarella.

Montes is absolutely terrible boomer food. I made the mistake of getting the "special". I swear that put diced canned pork on it. Was disgusting. That place was a huge let down.

City slicker cafe in Somerville has bar style pizza, and so does the bow market. There is a place called hot box and they sell both bar style pizza and roast beef

Better off hitting Volo Craft in Swampscott for their Detroit Style. Its the best. Or you can get Cape Cod pizza frozen at Market Basket

Man. Volo was so bland and overly doughy for me. Avenue in Somerville blows it out of the water by every metric.
