Hi, all!

I am getting a new puppy in January. Does anyone have any recommendations of great Boston people/dog-walking companies who will come to the apartment a few times a day to let the pup out and play? I've seen great recommendations for Cambridge/Middlesex companies, but they do not service Boston.

Thanks so much!

Is this puppy house trained? If not, you're going to need someone to come by 4/5 times a day while you're at work and provide the service of training the dog for you. They're not going to just do the latter for free.

If this is the case, you're better off finding someone to leave the dog with for the day and pick up from later. Puppies are a lot of work. It's not something you can easily just outsource.

ditto this. honestly, if you're getting a puppy, I'd do it at a time where you can put work on the backburner for a bit. can you work from home for a week? take a few days off? if you live with a partner, maybe alternate taking days off or do 2 & 2? I know taking time off work for "just" a pet seems ridiculous to some, but puppies demand so much attention and training. best to get them comfortable with you from the start.

This. For the first month we took our puppy out every two hours. It made house training “easy” and she had one accident in total.
