Just get platform doors, gets those idiots to stop holding doors and running through them. This is 100% a US public transportation issue, no other countries have door problems.

Bold claim. Last time I was in Paris, many of the subways still had manually operated doors and required a passenger to flick it up to open and they seems to get stuck most of the time.
