Topdrawer in Coolidge corner has a lot of Japanese stationery and pens. You could give them a call.

I feel like the Brookline Booksmith would have it. They have a huge planner section and also a lot of Japanese stuff

I have no interest in a day planner but now that I know these exist locally I might have to pick one up just for the sake of Mother merchandise.

The Paper Mouse might be your best bet. The other three shops in this thread do not carry Hobonichi products.

For the past few years, I've been on the hunt for local Hobonichis, but unfortunately, they're pretty hard to find. I resorted to ordering them online each year.

Yep, it's pretty hard to find around here so I've been ordering them directly from Hobonichi since 2014/2015. It's basically a yearly habit now haha.

The Paper Mouse did have them when I went there in late September. They also posted updates on their IG when they were available for purchase this year so highly recommend checking their account in late Aug/early Sept next year.

I'm tempted to drive to The Paper Mouse during my lunch break. Will keep you guys posted on their Hobonichi selection (if I go)!

If you go, enjoy the experience inside their store. I stay away for my wallet's sake lol

It was very pleasant! Definitely spent more than I wanted on Traveler's Notebooks.

There were very limited 2023 Hobos in stock. I only saw a single Techo Weekly. Restock is slated for mid-Feb.

OP, the Traveler's are a nice alternative if you're willing to branch from Hobo.

I can't believe you went on a recon mission on your lunchbreak! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜† I've debated on Travelers but for some reason, I like my notebooks wider instead of tall and skinny. Thanks for posting all the photos!

Glad I could help! The shop is worth visiting. They carried interesting items I haven't seen anywhere else.

Oh wow, those shelves were completely filled when I went. Glad there are more people using Hobo!

Yeah, the Hobos were pretty hot. There were two others who asked about the inventory before I looked at the shelves.

Wow! You all are awesome! The Paper Mouse looks amazing, and I'll be checking out the other places recommended just because I'm always excited to visit a new paper/notebook store. πŸ˜†
