itd be heavy rail aka red/blue line in this god-emperor scenario, all buried and all with brand new rails. depth would change depending on if it conflicts with other rails, like how its done in new york. in real life this would cost infinity money, but this is a dream.

I understand that this thought exercise in unconstrained by money and resources, but I'd think you should strive to propose something that's actually a worthwhile undertaking (even if completely unrealistic).

You'd be better off having the southern half of the Pink Line be DMU service (like the Rail Vision Alternative 4), EMU service (like the Rail Vision Alternative 5), or if you really want to go balls-to-the-wall EMU service through a North-South Rail Linke (like the Rail Vision Alternative 6). That service would be a much more worthwhile pursuit.

Next project is a proposal on what might actually be built in the next 50 years, given State and Federal outlays likely to be available.

And include commuter and regional rail.North and South Station are still unconnected.

GLX had a billion Federal dollars, which did not go all that far.
