I might have to drive to Maine on Saturday afternoon or may be Sunday morning. Worried about the ice since I drive a small FWD car. Looking for some insights, based on past experiences, on possible road conditions.

i would be concerned if you were going today, but tomorrow or sunday shouldn’t be a problem. depends on where you need to go, of course.

I think the roads will fine by then, rain is stopping early tonight and salt trucks will be out slinging. I wouldn't go first thing sat AM give it a few hours for traffic to eat away at any ice.

Agree with others - It’s going to be sunny and windy tomorrow and Sunday. That will give plenty of time for the roads to get salted/sanded and dry out.

Roads will be treated by then but I’d plan to check traffic maps for NH where there’s probably the only really potential slowdown on the bridge.
