The Jack Kirrane rink at Lars Anderson Park. It's outdoors and on the top of a hill with decent views of Cambridge. When it's snowing at nighttime it's one of the most beautiful places to be in Boston.

Fun fact, the first quad axel in figure skating Grand Prix history was just landed in the Performance Center this year. If you get hungry, the Club also has a café with warm foods.

Steriti rink in the North End is my go-to. It’s an indoor rink but it’s free if you bring skates and not too crowded. Best part is you can go walk around the North End afterwards and Bova’s is right next to it.

Otherwise the rink at the Common is a classic but gets crowded.

I would look up random ponds near roads on google maps and drive out. Winter pond near woburn for example is a popular pond skating spot. Only go if the snow is already cleared/people are skating.

Chandler Pond in Brighton was dug for ice harvesting so it's shallow and freezes over relatively quickly. I'd only skate if a bunch of other people are. https://www.chandlerpond.org/winter
