The office will be warm and cozy, heating the house will cost you your first born. I'd be more thinking how can I get some overtime so I can stay in the office longer.

I share your exact sentiment. My apartment will be 58, the office will be 72, and the Somerville library will be like 80 because they keep that place toasty.

The numbers don't lie, and they spell a week in office and at the library.

One of the main determinants for heading into the office anymore is: Will it cost me more to take the T or to heat my house for the day? I have electric heat, so it’s pretty much always the latter.

And surprise, in the summer it will be more expensive to cool your house down to commute to the office.

That'll be how they kill WFH slowly but surely.

Exactly, I worked from the office all summer because they keep that place at like 68°.
