Considering moving to back bay and curious about how parking as a resident is. Have lived in Fenway before so not a stranger to street parking. If anyone has lived in both neighborhoods, would love a comparison. Thanks!

Pretty terrible, but not as bad as Beacon Hill. Yet, worse than Fenway for sure.

Depends where. Southern part of back bay close to south end border is fine

It’s worse now than it was 20 years ago, but I think it’s better than the Fenway. Lots of moving the car around -meters, sweeping, temporary zones- but it’s quite liveable, IMO.

Having lived in beacon hill before moving to back bay I find it to be amazing. Beacon hill was hell. I haven’t spent longer than 10 min looking for a spot since I moved here five years ago. (not including street sweeping days which can be a nightmare you just gotta pay a meter for 90 min)
