Will the payout be akin to Encore's blackjack odds?

Funny how Charlie Baker's friends are getting their payout on sports betting just as he takes over at the NCAA.

Is there an explanation for why mobile doesn’t happen until March? I have to imagine all the apps are ready to basically just remove the location block for MA and turn it on

My understanding is that college sports betting will be allowed except for in-state schools like BC or UMass. However, betting will be allowed for in-state schools like them in some circumstances like March Madness..

What isn't allowed at all for college sports in Massachusetts is Daily Fantasy and that has been the case for a while now.

Nooooooo!!!!!! The Moral degradation of our society continues and that dream of a shining city on the hill, a beacon to the nations, seems further than ever from being a reality! I weep for our faire commonwealth and city!

Really judgmental here. A lot of people bet on games just for fun knowing the odds aren’t in their favor. Betting $10 on a three hour game gives the user much more value/enjoyment rather than the lottery or scratchers which are done in a couple seconds

Trust me, i really don’t care what you think. I just made a counter argument to what you said because I disagreed with it. If I knew you would just refuse to even defend your own view point and just attack me I wouldnt have commented in the first place

I grew up hearing horror stories about a relative losing a fortune to gambling. It’s that one vice that can outspend any other. Check out Terrance Watanabe’s story for example. I personally believe gambling should be regulated and legal. It’s a tax on folks that fall into the trap. It’s not anything to be celebrated.

Sure some people will become addicted and lose a ton of money gambling, but the vast majority will not and just gamble small amounts of money for fun. Pretty similar to drinking in that regard, some people are alcoholics but the majority will just drink socially in relatively healthy amounts. Like all vices, it’s about moderation
