Hey ya’ll. I’m looking for a new dog sitter in the Boston area/greater Boston area. They can even be as far away as Western mass if they’re really good. I’m trying to find someone that does in-home boarding. Unfortunately, the kennel environment isn’t suitable for our pup. Any recs are welcome.

I do house sitting (stay at client's) and drop-in visits. Based in Waltham/Newton. You'll want to search Rover based on your address so you find someone within their radius.

I’ve been using Rover for pet sitting and I’ve had nothing but great experiences so far.

Thanks! I guess I was just a little nervous about rover but it seems like there are enough sitters have many good reviews

Makes sense. I was hesitant before as well. You can take your time and reach out to a few sitters to find one that best works for you.

What’s this cost typically?

it varies wildly depending on what your needs are, and the dates.

I pay about 80/day for a dog and a cat overnight. That is on the cheap side.

Still much cheaper than boarding, which would be double that.

The pricing can vary depending the service (someone to do home boarding, dog walks, etc.) as well as by how many pets you’ve got, if it’s a holiday, etc. I’ve got cats so it averages about $30 or so per visit.
