My office overlooks 93 facing south and my god does it seem awful. Every single day it's bumper to bumper, with emergency vehicles weaving through and the undead feasting on drivers. Is this always the case? I can't imagine putting myself through that day in and day out.

The second it's not fucked someone goes 95 mph through the tunnel and crashes into a wall to refuck it.

Getting caught in an unexpected midnight construction jam on 93 is brutal.

GPS from Boston actually encourages you to go 90>95 for that trip... curious if there is a noticeable spike on 93 that early.

Always fucked. It’s why I never go to the southshore.

93 north of the city is not fucked nearly as often as south of the city. that's the sole reason we chose to live north (west was never an option due to housing cost)

93 south is the only highway access that I-95, Route 24, and Route 3 have in order to get to downtown. The daily cluster fuck on 93 is all of the drivers from 3 major highways south of the city converging into one.

Depends on when you’re on 93 and what direction, but yeah generally speaking the big exits and splits always suck. The 95/93 split in Woburn is almost always horrendous.

Also- can we talk about the drivers weaving in and out of traffic like lunatics late nights and sometimes mornings??? Are they drag racing? It’s insane

Used to take it regularly for work 15 years ago and it was the same then as it is now

If I have to go into the city I have to be going north on 93 after 9am, and you have to be heading south no later than 1pm.

You’ll hit traffic every time but these times are key.

I find there’s a short window in the middle of the day, like between 11am and 1pm where it isn’t too bad
