Just take this as $100 lost and a lesson learned. The police don’t care.

“A week without my AirPods has been tough”. -Maybe this will be good for you, then. You sound like you live a padded life.

Its $250 dollars lost. What hurts is I can see the street address of the guy who stole it and can’t do nothing about it

Why not ask for him and talk to him about it yourself? Since you’re so upset and think you can’t do anything about it.

I went to that address but it’s an apartment complex and has many houses. I don’t know which one he lives on

Look OP, you're clearly a bit out of touch for a number of reason (thinking the police would do anything, posting it on reddit, etc). But here's some practical advice: do NOT show up at someone's residence over petty theft. That's just asking for trouble. There are lots of wireless buds that are much cheaper than airpods, you'll be fine.

Tip for the future: Get yourself a renters insurance policy. It’s $10-$15 a month. It would cover a theft like this, as well as other property damage, liability, and living expenses if your apartment becomes uninhabitable.

And watch/lock up your valuables at the gym.
