Took the EZRide for the first time yesterday. I was just trying to get over to the North Point Park area from North Station quicker than walking.

I intended to get off at the first stop at Education Way, but the bus went right past it to the next stop at Morgan Ave. Not a huge deal, as it added all of a whopping 3 minute walk, but I was curious why it didn't stop at all stops? Admittedly, I'm a bumpkin from small town NH and this was my first time on a public transit bus of any sort (more of a T guy personally), but I'd like to avoid surprises like this in the future, if possible.

I noticed there was no one waiting at the first stop that the driver sailed past, but there was at the second stop she did stop at. Do you have to signal in some way to stop at stop if no one is waiting? It was during the evening schedule, but that doesn't affect that portion of the route according to the map.

Thanks in advance for the life lesson, lol.

On buses you have to press the bell to signal that you want it to stop at your bus stop lol. Bus drivers aren't mind readers!

Buses you need to signal stops and above ground subway you need to signal stops. Also if you take the commuter rail, be aware of "flag stops". If there aren't people on the platform or you don't tell the conductor they will not make the stop.
