Might not help that much for you as I have never owned any x box ever. I've been a PS guy my entire life. Had each generation of console but skipped ps4 pro. Just got the ps5 and timing wasn't great, we just had our second child less than 2 weeks ago. Not as much time as I'd like to play but man I do not regret buying a PS5. I've always really enjoyed the PS products and I have zero intent on switching. Maybe I'm biased but if I were you I'd get a PS5. If you're even thinking about this now you don't want to regret NOT buying one. Worst case scenario you hate it, you can sell it for probably what you paid for it as they are still not super easy to find.
