As much as I am a PS person, why would you give up such benefits for a console from the last generation without any benefits bar the fact that you've got 5 games?

I voted no, but then I remembered Bloodborne…if that’s one of the games it changes the calculus lol.

Not as simple as yes or no. Will you be playing the same games on PS4? If so, keep the xbox. Do you have friends you want to play with on PS4? If so, get the PS4. Do you prefer xbox or ps4 exclusives? I mean other people can't make these decisions for you

I just do not understand this… as a PS4 Pro Owner Id switch for the Xbox in a heart beat!!

PS4 with PS+ Extra will get you some mileage if you want the last generations exclusives, but if you have to trade in the series S it probably is t worth it

On the surface, it can look like a downgrade. However, game developers are trying to get Microsoft to drop the series S. The reason is Microsoft insist that all games that come out on the series X must be compatible with the series S, which is only a little more powerful than a last-generation console.

I would say take the PS4 and the games.

Gamepass is not tied to hardware, but to an account, and selling an account is a risky business.

Ultimate doesn’t come with a console it’s a monthly subscription…

Let's see: A console with a service that gives you access to hundreds of games

Or

A console with 5 games

Bought my daughter a ps4 a few years back for Christmas and it’s been junk. Had nothing but problems literally from the first day. My ps3 that’s older than my daughter is still better than her ps4
