I own a PS5 and a PC with a 3080 in it, and while consoles may be ‘mid range PC’s from 2 years ago’ at least all games on it run smoothly while every new release on PC these days is an unoptimized mess with stutters and frame drops all the time, not to mention denuvo hogging performance even more. These days you get better treatment in consoles and PC players are treated as second grade citizens..

If you think there isn’t optimisation needed anymore then you are truly delusional lol. Console optimization is very much a thing even because it’s much easier for devs to optimize for a system with a specific set of hardware instead of thousands of different configurations (like PC). Hogwarts isn’t the only recent release that has problems.. Witcher 3 updated version has a lot of stutter problems on PC, Elden Ring STILL has stutter issues.. Dead Space.. the list goes on and on, almost ALL games that get released these days have performance problems on PC and devs think they can just get away with poor optimization by slapping DLSS on all of their games. Truly if you think this is a non issue you either don’t play games or you’re just plain stupid. And guess what? None of these games have issues on console.

But of course, PC is the best place to play, right?

Also 900p25? have you been living under a stone? Current gen consoles have been hitting 60 fps on all new titles so far. And then I’m the one spreading misinformation, how ironic.

Stop posting the same misinformed nonsense and actually read my responses. There isn’t any “optimisation” really needed these days, consoles ARE PCs. That’s why lately this hasn’t really been talked about, and you’ve only revived this because of Hogwarts Legacy. Yawn.

But please, go enjoy your smooth 900p25 game and tell me it’s “optimised”.
