Have you considered a raspberry pi based emulator console? That or a game stick type device? That way you could have access to multiple console emulators and be completely compact and portable 🧐🤔

Definitely worth looking into, I have an Anbernic RG351P handheld, I play many different consoles up to PS1 😁

You could also look at EVERCADE systems although they are a bit limited in terms of games
