I've recently been looking for a new console to buy as I have a ps3 right now but I can't decide whether I should buy ps4 or xbox one s(I have a budget so I can't buy next-gen consoles). And they both have their pros xbox one s and cheaper I like the colour, whilst ps4 runs better

Whether you’re looking at Xbox One vs PS4 or Xbox series S/X vs PS5 - it’s all about Game Pass vs Sony exclusives- I chose game pass knowing my habits but many (more) people choose PlayStation exclusives.

One of the many games I would even want to get with game pass is Minecraft and I'd rather buy it not have to pay monthly to pay these games and sony exclusives all I want is spiderman

between ps4 and one s, i’d probably get the ps4. I only use mine for exclusives, and then i use my xbox for backwards compatible games, but the ps exclusives are enough of a reason to get one

So I don't think the regular ps4 runs noticeably better than a one s. They are both comparable l, while the ps4 pro and Xbox one x are the better performing versions. I think the one s may actually be better at some things, like it can play native 4k videos while the ps4 upscale them.

Anyways, depending on where you live I'd look into Xbox all access; basically you get the console immediately and than pay monthly for 2 years (I think USD it's between 25-35 depending on console) and have gamepass ultimate for the duration. Plus, you end up saving a bit overall, and it gets you a current/next Gen console rather than last Gen.

I have both.But I personally use the switch much more than ps4 and xbox plus switch dlcs are much much cheaper bought loads of 89p and 99p games but I love point and click adventures. Like grim fandango and artiflex mundi games. But x box gets used in our house more than ps4 hope this helps you.
