Xbox’s headset is better is sound quality but WILL ONLY WORK ON XBOX.

Pulse 3D sound quality is good ( not as good as the xbox headset ) but pretty good. Pulse 3d can work on ps5 and pc wirelessly and xbox and even your phone through the headphone jack. NOTE pulse 3d sound amazing on the ps5.

I have the Microsoft wireless headset, it connects to anything, can connect to two things at once. It is Dolby Atmos, currently £79.99

Oh yeah I forgot that the xbox headset has Bluetooth. Still they wont work ps5 tho.

For the Op’s case his best bet is the pulse 3D due to them having a headphone jack and all

Get the turtle beach stealth 700 gen2 max or stealth 600 gen2 max, it works on both consoles.

Ahhh my bad, I own the Xbox wireless set and use a set of Bose with 3.5mm jack on PS5 (inline mic).

Using this method can you voice chat using pulse on Xbox console? Presuming cable has its own mic. A friend of mine owns both and said voice chat wouldn't work on opposite platforms.

Its cool we all make mistake

And yes i had to check it myself and your friend may be mistaken

Yes the pulse 3D’s mic does work when connected to the xbox controller through the AUX cable. Basically the aux cable also acts as a power source for the pulse 3D and so it uses the pulse 3d’s mic
