I don't use it on an XBOX anymore, I sold off my XBOX ONE X and have since started using it on my PC instead, but just like on the console it eats through batteries within 3 hours. Used Energizer MAX Lithium, Duracel.,.. the Duracel only lasted 2 hours. I don't plug in headphones either.

I was going to buy rechargable batteries but that would have cost me 30 so instead am going to sell it off with the USB dongle and I bought the 8BITDO Ultimate to replace it.

Sad because I will miss the 20th Anniversary design, it's a nice looking controller.

I use rechargeable AA batteries and last me about 2 week, then once those start to die i swap them with my previously charge set and thus the cycle continues, been doing this for 15 years Edit: with the total amount you spent on single use batteries you definitely could have got the ones that cost 30, think ahead not just for now

Fakespot analyzes the reviews authenticity and not the product quality using AI. We look for real reviews that mention product issues such as counterfeits, defects, and bad return policies that fake reviews try to hide from consumers.

We give an A-F letter for trustworthiness of reviews. A = very trustworthy reviews, F = highly untrustworthy reviews. We also provide seller ratings to warn you if the seller can be trusted or not.

I got 2 2800mAh battery packs for around £22 from Amazon - they last for weeks in my series X controller, even if I play regularly. I think the series X controller is great quality and seems to go much easier on the batteries compared to the Xbox one controllers...

I use the Venom rechargable battery packs that come with a nice charging cradle. Batteries last ages between charges.

I played last night for 4 hours without issue on a controller that wasn't fully charged when i started.

I like the Xbox controllers as a whole, but controller drift occurs way to quickly.
