Bit of background, I have lots of Xbox games Xbox gp ultimate and such, but my friends have been begging me to get ps5. Opinions?

Crossplay is big now, but ultimately it's upto you.

If you enjoy the Xbox UI and games stick with them.

If you're interested in the PS exclusives try them out.

I'm an xbox fan boy I tried ps in past was ok but I just liked xbox so much better now my ps is in our home office we just use it to watch streaming apps

I've had PlayStations my entire gaming life and am a big fan of the PS exclusives. That being said, I bought a series S for gamepass and would say 100% go xbox over PlayStation.

Go PlayStation if you want the biggest single player experiences (god of war ps4 was a masterpiece) but go xbox for usability, interface, gamepass.

If you're looking for exclusives Ps5 all the way. I mean God of War, the last of us, uncharted, bloodbourne, demon souls. All worth it alone. But in every other regard, the series X is the superior console. Including gamepass having 100s of amazing games, some released day 1 to gamepass, for 15 bucks a month. But mostly specs.
