For $100 per year, Extra is 400+ games plus the 3 - 5 games per month and another 19 games for PS5 collection. It averages to about $8 per month. It's about the same amount of games as Game Pass Ultimate which is $15 a month. Game Pass gives day one games but for almost double the yearly price.

For an extra $20 a year, Premium gives you an extra 300+ games for what averages out to be $1.50 a month. Most of (but not all) these games are PS3 games that require streaming and, as a result, are lower quality and may even have some lag. Imo, there are plenty of good games that are unaffected at it's still worth the extra $20 per year. This package is essentially close to 800 games for $120 a year which averages to $10 per month (the same price as Game Pass PC and its 425ish games).

Sure there are deals. PS Plus usually goes on sale for $40 on black Friday. We'll see what they do this year. For accurate comparisons, we have to go with advertised prices.

I’m talking regular every day pricing. You buy a year of xbox gold for 59.99$ then one month of game pass for 15$ (or 1$ if you’re lucky and can just upgrade) then it will convert your entire membership to game pass ultimate.

Edit: you can do this if you purchase 3-4 years of xbox live gold as well. One month of game pass converts the entire thing

I don't need to. I have both and in my opinion the quality and quantity I have on PS Plus is far bigger than Gamepass.

Besides I was not trying to be rude or something like that, sorry if I did. It's just that I see that people usually prefer the games that are on PS Plus over the ones on Gamepass. Like God Of War is by itself more popular AND usually much more well evaluated than every game on Gamepass (by critics and players).

You combine that with a wide selection on incredible games like the Final Fantasy games, Saints Row, most of the Ubisoft+ catalogue and some indie jewels like Hollow Knight, a lot of PS1/2/3 games (while Gamepass has only few games of these times) and you have what is in my opinion a much better service.

Of course it all depends on your tastes, maybe you're super into cars and wouldn't give up on Forza even if people paid you to do it. But overall, in a general view of the selections, PS+ is better.
