I (only) think that it should be possible to play through Edge browser either Nvidia GeForce Now or Boosteroid.

Yep, you can use Gforce now, you can also use retroarch if you like some of the older games/arcade. You can’t buy a PC with the spec of an Xbox for anywhere near the price, it will be a great stop gap for you
