Hello,

Short story - I needed to sell my PC a while back for personal reasons and now I'm looking to go back into gaming, and I'm wondering about the Xbox Series X, since it's 449€ and in stock. Im pretty sure for that kind of money I won't get a better PC then the Xbox, also I think with the edge browser on the xbox i can also use the cloud gaming sites like Nvidia GeForce Now for my PC library.

Yep, you can use Gforce now, you can also use retroarch if you like some of the older games/arcade. You can’t buy a PC with the spec of an Xbox for anywhere near the price, it will be a great stop gap for you

Bottom line - Rule of Thumb - buy the platform where your friends are so you can play together. If that doesn’t matter wait for a PS5. I bought a Series X and I’m incredibly disappointed. Very buggy. Eventually got a PS5 and it’s fantastic.

Honestly both consoles function the same.

Just do your research on each console, the services they offer and if it comes down to it , grab what's available

The biggest bug I've encountered is that the Xbox has deleted games on me. Like literally removed the game from the console completely and I have had to redownload the entire file. Apparently this has happened to Xbox in the past but what the hell kind of issue is that and why isn't it resolved? The controllers are having input issues to the system and I've encountered frame drops etc with performance. I'm not sure if it's my Xbox but the conclusion I have come to is that it's software related. I have some buddies with the Series X and they have reported similiar issues. Not single complaint or issue with my PS5 btw - it's worth the wait. Plus they have the new Pro Controller coming out which is going to be amazing. I have the Elite 2 Xbox controller and it's garbage on the Xbox but fantastic on my PC so again - software related. Hope this helps.

Everything you listed is trash. Only good gaming platform is a Hameg brand oscillator where you can play Tennis for Two with your friends. Everything else about video games after 1960 is worthless.

I love my X with game pass. Great value and a powerful machine.

Very different machines

Gamepass vs Sony Exclusives

Sony obviously has far more elite AAA exclusives, but also far more expensive to play
