I bought the PS5 with the disc drive because the extra $100 would be made up on physical game sales from best buy or walmart or whatever, and it has already paid for it. I would rather pay extra for the ability to have it than save a little bit in the short term and not be able to take advantage of physical copy sales, which are often better than anything the PS store offers.
