My router is downstairs and my PS5 is upstairs. I get thrown out of games about 50% of the time and I bought it like a month ago. Whenever I don’t get thrown out it always lags hard and I have a bad connection bar in the corner of the game. Not once since purchasing it have I had a game run crystal clear expect MW2 Campaign, Online for that game is almost impossible to play I’ll empty a clip into someone almost every shot somehow misses and they turn around and shoot me dead after 3 bullets. In the kill can I barely hit them and I’m just standing in one spot and they always easily kill me. However my PS4 is in the same room and it’s never lagged this bad being in close to the same spot as the PS5 and I have 4TB worth of games on my PS4 I can actually play games without lag on that system it just takes longer to fire it up and doesn’t look as clear. The PS4 is my original which I had for probably 4-5 Years if not longer and the PS5 is less then 2 months old and I still preform better on the 4. It’s also like I don’t have shitty wifi I don’t understand why it’s so bad. I can run 4 PS4’s at the same time and they will still run better then my PS5 with barely anything connected to the WiFi and trust me I have run 4 PS4’s in my house plenty of times before my household has 3 of them.
