I got a Philips 65 inch TV with ambilight and it was one of the best purchases I have made regarding gaming, the ambilight fills your peripheral vision the colours you're seeing on the screen and enhances the immersion, I could never go back to normal TV.
in short, whatever you buy make sure it has ambilight, you won't regret it.

Also I paid about £350(around $415) but keep in mind you could get a smaller tv for less, just make sure it has ambilight.

You can buy those immersive backlighting systems separately. No need to base your TV purchase around it.
