Pc isn't cheaper anymore. A ps5 / xbox series X has pretty good graphical capability and you'd have to spend more than what those consoles cost new to outperform them on PC.

Sure you need to spend a little more but everything else is much cheaper and PC also offers much more, cheaper games, cheaper peripherals, multi monitor support, modding, more store fronts, no need to pay for online, xbox game pass is on PC, better and more engaging voice chat and messaging software, free cloud save backups, more games, support for older games, variety of peripherals like choosing what brand or device you want to use, VR support, desktop work apps like Adobe and Microsoft Office, advanced video capture and editing tools, intercompaibilty between generational hardware, cheaper to upgrade when needed, sony exclusives are now arriving on PC, emulation, modding emulators and the possibility of playing older consoles with any controller or device you want, emulation multiplayer, you actually keep your games every generation, large variety of game streaming apps/support, more advanced audio capability, generous refund policy on alot of marketplaces, better LAN support, and overall a PC can be used not just for gaming and doesn't just become E-waste after 7 years, you can buy a premade PC at any price bracket, you can build your own PC at any price bracket, you can build your own PC using preowned parts at any price bracket you can choose exactly what performance you want in your system, all these options just make the 200-300 dollar starting price way better than anything modern consoles even offer, right now you can get a steam deck for 399 dollars which you can take on the go with you and can play modern title including spiderman miles moralis and Call of duty modern warfare 2.

Edit: and that's not even taking into consideration that the initial price premium is negated by the cheaper games and not needing to pay for online in the long run, I myself have spend loads on my PC because I use it as a hobby and part of my IT studies, my other friend got a brand new custom rig tailored to his needs water cooling and all, another friend has got PC this year and is running a modest under £700 system that can run any game he wants and my other friend has a 2014 $80 PC that has no graphics card yet can run some more simple fun to play RTS and older FPS games, we're all at different price points and we choose how we want to play

PC is much, much cheaper than a console is, denying that is denying reality, games are cheaper, you don't pay for online, you choose what price of PC you want, you can't choose on a console

Well done, very clever 🤤 everyone knows that to have a pc that runs as good as a modern console you will spend more money. Not to mention sitting back in a couch is way comfier than shrimping over a desk. Let's just leave it there though pal, the votes show you're chatting breeze and I'm not gonna be the guy you have your daily reddit argument with 😅

I've already addressed the points in your comment worth addressing, I'm getting down voted because I'm in a console subreddit.
