It's super expensive though. I get that it is a bit rare, but 160 bucks for the cheapest one I can find is a little much.

I looked at the buy and sell store, and even on Ebay and those things practically cost an arm and a leg. That store must be either generous or just going stuff out like a garage sale.

Mind you this was a few years ago. Im fairly certainly pre covid. I thought it was a steal but only did come with one controller and thats it, no VMU

Ill check out my local place this weekend, they had one in stock a few weeks ago, i just didnt look at the price

The lack of right analogue stick and L3 is a pain in the chops. But if it's for nostalgic reasons then go ahead! The games are fantastic.

Is this for souvenir reasons or do you just want to play the games, have you considered emulation?

Yes. Sonic adventure is solid, Tony hawk is always fun. The arcade ports like crazy taxi are always enjoyable.

I think u should! Just be ready to spend some money on the good games and when u go game hunting for DC, don't be annoyed with how many sports games there are. It took me a while to get over all the sports games that game stores had. But what's really cool is new games are being made for the Dreamcast... A retro gaming store I frequent has a pretty good collection of them.
