That's a choice you'll have to make on your own. The games I like aren't on PS5. I'm not big into games that are exclusive. I have an Xbox series X, if there are any specific features that you want to ask about I can possibly answer it for you. I can just say I like the system a lot.

Overall is performance good?

Yes. I would say it is pretty rare for it to reach under 50 frames for well-optimized games. It typically gives a stable 60. The most unoptimized game I play is ARK, and it still runs well. Was a big step up from the Xbox One X that I had before.

PS5 I would not imagine would run worse. It's probably about as or just as good. But I can't speak for it because I don't have one.

If that's the biggest issue you're contemplating I think you should go with the PS5. As I said, the performance between the two is negligible at most. Don't sacrifice the potential fun you think you can have just because the number on it's GPU is a little less.

It's more about the Xbox being more user friendly, less expensive and imo better overall. The one and only reason Im considering the ps5 is cause of the exclusives so idk

My understanding is that their market price is the same.

I can say that the Xbox is very user friendly, and it does have good performance.

I'd recommend going through the gamepass selection and see if anything catches your eye that you would want to try for """free""". Also look at the games Xbox plans on getting. Xbox does not have many exclusives, and it won't because they are doing so much with PC. But it is taking a lot of potential from Sony. Also try and follow the microsoft-activision deal. Could take COD from Sony entirely eventually.

Well alright, my point still stands. Xbox has a lot of potential right now. But you won't get anything much at the moment from it. It's gonna be a waiting game, if you're into the games that are coming for it.

You'll get the exclusives now from Sony, which I assume are good. Or you can wait for console exclusives from Xbox, that I also assume will be good.

The ps5 is not weaker. Both consoles are similar. There are slight differences but not something you'll notice.

I know it's not noticeable but still the Xbox is more powerful
