Series X. Don’t get digital unless you don’t mind paying more for games. But some people prefer the convenience of digital and that’s fine too. Think of the exclusives you prefer too. I bought a Series X and traded in my PS4 and regret doing so. That’s only because I’m a giant fan of God of War. However, I like the Xbox controllers better (minus the lack of an internal battery, that fukn SUCKS) But the way I look at it, I’ll get a PS5 eventually to play single player games on PlayStation and multiplayer on Xbox. Just get a system based on what you want to play now, not for what the future MIGHT hold. Both are powerful. Let the dipshits of Reddit fight about which is more powerful/better. In the end, it’s all about the games.

The lack of internal battery is like the one big advantage the xbox controller has over dualsense. Do you not use rechargeables?

I do, but I’m used to just plugging in my controller every night with PS4 and not worrying about its battery when I start a game. But with Xbox, I have to keep reminding myself to switch out the batteries which is not as simple as plugging in a device, which we are used to doing with our smartphones.

Just get another set of batteries so when one set runs out you have the other charged and you just swap them

I do. That’s what I mean. I still have to change them out rather than plugging in with a cable at the end of the night.

But you don't have to remember to? Once the controller dies, you just take the charged set and plug the dead batteries in their place to charge. It takes 10 seconds and you don't have to remember to do anything, while you could still forget to plug in the controller at night

I see what you’re saying. But I’d rather avoid it dying on me, as I play mostly multiplayer and it’s frustrating when I’m in the heat of the moment and my controller dies. That sucks so bad!

I play mostly singleplayer, except for Fortnite. I do kinda prefer the Xbox layout. If both are the same price, which is better?
