I'm picking up an XSX from the shop tomorrow and realised they also have the PS5 disk +GOW Ragnarok in stock for £539. Money isn't really a huge issue, but I also don't want to waste it, is it worth having both, or should I wait and get a PS5 next year

Only you can anwser this.

Do enough of the PS5 titles interest you to warrant £539?

I can certainly attest to there exclusives being great myself but different strokes for different folks n all that jazz.

If you have a PS4 already, I’m going to say not yet.

I use my Xbox for “competitive gaming” and what little exclusives they have that I enjoy. I bought a PS5 after having my Xbox for two years and gave zero regrets- PlayStation exclusives are unbeatable and GoW is so bad ass, I’ve been having a blast

If you can afford to ask this question, you don't know reality.

Yes. Both are fantastic consoles. They both have great experiences to offer, and will have many more in the coming years. There's also backwards compatibility to keep in mind. PS5 is backwards compatible with the vast majority of PS4 games and the Xbox Series X is backwards compatible with many Xbox One, 360, and Xbox games. You'll have many games to choose from
