Which console do i buy?

Before anyone says ' do what you want' I'm just asking other people opinion, as to what they'd get. I want to get atleast native 1080p 60fps in 99% of my titles, as except for older games, 30fps is kinda unplayable. I don't mind the controller, I don't mind the exclusives that much. It's between the ps5, series X or series S. I would get the series S as it's on sale for £199 and if it'd break or get too outdated, I wouldn't care as much, but if a £450 console broke, it'd have a bigger impact. Also (imo) the Xbox community is alot less toxic, and Microsoft isn't as greedy as Sony. What do you guys think?

Sounds like you're leaning heavily towards the Xbox anyway. Just go with that.

Go for the Xbox Series X if you are able. No matter what.

Go for the S if you do not use Disks, if you're impatient, and want a console now.

It will take around another 4 years for this gen to become outdated. So no worry there. Also, your performance specifications are met on the Xbox, either one you choose. In the event that your console does break (even though it is highly unlikely to do so on its own when using it as intended), send it into a repair place. Get the warranty if you can.

Getting a series X isn't a problem, there are hundreds available where I live. It's just that I don't wanna spend 450 on something that could break soon or of I don't need it

If you buy it new, worrying about it breaking soon is irrational. Get a warranty for it when you buy it. Should be around $15.

Edit: I've had my series X for around 2 years and has never given me issues.

What are you talking about? Xbox controllers have the option of putting in batteries or plugging it in via USB.

Definitely go with Xbox. The Series S is solid and should meet your expectations. Nevertheless I would recommend the Series X.

Please do a PlayStation. If you an Xbox then that's just a waste of time. Because if you want to create a new account you go to Microsoft and sometimes lead into a lot of work. Also because the Xbox uses batteries. Which sometimes takes you a long time. Compare to a PlayStation, you just have to put the charger in the console and its simple as that.
