For the past months I wanted to buy a Switch. Especially since we've played it at work (during nightshifts) and some of the games are really fun (Overcooked, moving out and other multiplayer games). We didn't have a gaming console until recently. My boyfriend bought an Xbox series S and so far he's been playing Fifa and F1. I also started playing F1 but I need to have a few hours to be really getting good results in racing. We also started playing It Takes Two and it is amazing!

But, something's missing. Lately I've been away for work one or more days a week and I can't stop thinking about having the option to play a game that's not on my Macbook. I was thinking about getting a Switch, next to our Xbox, just for some party games when friends are over and for the handheld mode. The sort of games I like are usually like Animal Crossing (although it's been a long time since I played it - Nintendo DS lite), I had fun with the original Pokemon games and I also spent some good time on Super Mario Bros. I saw 'Stardew Valley' and I think it would be a game I would really like. I'm not really into shooter games.

My question: for my situation, do you think it would be worth it to get a Switch as an extra, considering the price? I don't have hours to play in a day, but I would like the option to be playing for shorter amounts of time.

Yeah, if exclusives or portability(or both) are important to you then the Switch is one of the best party game consoles out there, the only other consoles i could recomend is WiiU and Xbox 360/One w/ Kinnect

Yes! It’s one of those consoles that’s just very fun and entertaining in an easy way. Games are fun solo and even better with a friend or group.

You should consider buying this. Opposite to others opinions it's great Unfortunately battery life will decline after awhile;

Granted,it is a small console so this is expected Also I would totally recommend zelda botw Yours truly, Conor and James.

The switch is pretty affordable and I'd say you'd get a second hand one for very cheap. They also do great deals on the e-shop regularly.

I'm not into the same games as you but I absolutely love my switch. It provides a much better breadth of games, whereas I find the PS/X-Box to be largely FPS based.

If your only using the Switch for home. I suggest an PlayStation 5. Because the Switch and only run up to 30 FPS compared to a PS5, which has 120 FPS. P.S. lf you ever buy a PS5. Buy like a 75' inch, 4K or 8K, 120 FPS or higher.

💯 not.. spend the extra and get the PS5 or Xbox C series or even the Xbox s series for the same price as the switch.. nearly 10 years old the switch and it tells when you play all three
