That’s a bit of a misnomer. Consoles rarely run games at native 4K and if they do the graphics settings are usually set to low. Native 4K high/ultra textures at 60 is better than upscaled 4K low preset at 120 imo. You are also completely at the mercy of the game dev whether or not they program their game to run at 120 or 4K (it’s exceedingly rare for a game to support both). Whereas you can make virtually any PC game run at 120 with little hassle. And 4K 120 tvs are expensive ($1k+). You might as well put that extra capital towards a proper gaming desktop and monitor.
For the same price you could either get a $1000 pc and $500 monitor or a $500 console and a $1000 tv. The choice is clear to me.

No, the Series X runs at Native 4K, Series S runs at upscaled 4K, also, it works with monitors, so you can buy a $500 dollar monitor and $500 console, or you can buy a $1000 dollar PC and a $500 dollar monitor, also 90% of new Xbox games support 4K 120 fps for a similar gaming experience to a $1000 pc, the choice is clear to me
