Either Super Mario Party or Super Mario Maker 2 - both have varying degrees of multiplayer content, and somewhat decent replayability.

Super Mario Party looks interesting, but also unusual from what games im used to. But maybe its fun, we got 4 controllers in total at this time.

It's joy-con only btw, that's the main drawback. You have to get more joy-cons for 4 players. It's pretty awful. But if you have more joycons its perfect

I have 2 red and 2 blue Joy-cons I believe. The originals that came with the Switch.
Will I need 8 of them for 4 players? Or is 4 enough to play all of these minigames?

You're fine then. Mine only had one of each so yeah

Mine did aswell but figured out Id buy an extra pair. So we're set with 4 joy-cons then.

Nice one

Does any of these games require membership to play?
RocketCheetah69 t1_j0mspmq wrote
If you want access to the online play, then yeah, but otherwise not at all.

Alright. Another question: For games like Animal crossing can you play it split-screen on the same console or does it require a second Nintendo Switch?
RocketCheetah69 t1_j0mtnx1 wrote
You can play animal crossing multiplayer on one screen, but i've tried it, and you're better off playing single player because the multiplayer just doesn't work.

I'd recommend Mario Party Superstars and NOT Super Mario Party. Super Mario party is one of the worst Mario party games I've ever played
Prestigious-Mine-513 OP t1_j0n7tfy wrote
Dang, they look similar, how come this is better than the regular Party?
Dkshameless t1_j0nzdr4 wrote
The maps are a bit more engaging, the mini games on super Mario party are awesome. But the actual maps you play on are very simple and quite boring
MaceZilla t1_j0mtb47 wrote
But Mario maker for girls age 5 is probably a bit too much complexity

Idk, i think it's pretty good for kids their age. They can express creativity without destroying the house!

I thought so as well. 😉
