Which PS5 game should I buy with my console

So I finally decided to sell my PS4 Pro and get a PS5. Unfortunately, I would need to wait 1-2 weeks because it's out of stock. Thankfully it isn't more, as it's relatively easy to get one now, where I live. However in all stores in my country, it's mandatory to buy 3 PS5 games in addition to the console. Now, I decided to pick up the Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition cuz I also want the first game remaster, plus I sold my PS4 copies with the old console. I will also be getting Death Stranding as I didn't get to finish it on PS4 and I sold that off too (plus it's actually pretty cheap now on PS5).

But for the 3rd game, I'm kind of on the fence on which game to get:

1.Returnal - Never played it, hardly know what it's about, but seems interesting

  1. Rachet and Clank: Rift Apart - Not the biggest platformer guy, but I enjoyed the reboot from 2016. The cross-dimension stuff looks cool

  2. Demon's Souls Remake - Never played a Souls game in my life. The closest I got, was Jedi Fallen Order which copies that combat system of those games a bit, from what I hear. But I enjoyed that one, so I'm thinking about this one too, even as a newcomer.

Any suggestions?

UPDATE: I just woke up this morning and found that the GOW Ragnarok PS5 Disc Edition bundle was in stock. So I ordered it and got Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition and Death Stranding Director's Cut, additionally. Surprisigly, GOW is not a digital code but a physical disc copy. I suppose it's a region/country thing.

I love both Returnal and Demon's Souls. They both have that next gen feel and aren't available on previous gen. BUT they are both included with a PS Plus Extra subscription (which is about the cost of one game). So I would recommend Ratchet and Clank if you plan to get the subscription (which you should).

I never was into PS+. I do have a big backlog of PS4 games still, so I'll probably be catching up there too. I just wanted to get at least one of these games at first now, as an experience I couldn't get on PS4. Right now, I'm just trying to decide on a 3rd game to complete my bundle.

I beat the original from 2018. And lucky for me I woke up this morning and found that a PS5 disc edition bundle with Ragnarok is in Stock. So I got that. Will be delivered by 30.12. It's actually surprising that it's a physical copy and not a code. I guess it depends on country and region.

I have left Forbidden West out intentionally because there was a DLC announced recently. They'll probably put out a Complete Edition like with the first game (which I have). That's when I'll buy it.

I've already played Ghost of Tsushima on PS4, including the expansion and sold my copy. Will get the PS5 version again, down the line.

Kena Bridge of Spirts, I already own on Steam, so no need to buy it again.

Elden Ring, is a question mark because as I said, I haven't played any Souls games. Would this be a better entry point than Demon's Souls Remake?

As I stated, in one of my other comments, I distinctly stopped on these 3 games, because they are PS5 exclusives. I want to see which of the 3 would give me the best "next-gen" experience (which is now current)

Souls is annoying (to me anyway). Nothing like Fallen Order at all.

Ratchet and Clank is the way to go, I think. Developers have a good reputation.

Also, 2-3 years after release and STILL being out of stock is shameful.

For a multi-billion dollar company it is anyway. Then again, I wouldn't know about console production. What I do know is that their competitor, Microsoft, had only a few issues with stock, which were eventually dealt with.

I just want a PS5 🥲

I know. It still sucks, but at least it's not as bad as it used to be. A decent number of people have their hands on the console already, so I'm glad I don't have to wait months in between stock supply to get it. As for, the recommendation, I can agree Insomniac have built a good name for themselves. But I'm curious, what exactly did you not like about Returnal?

The infinite death loops. It's why I couldn't even get through 12 minutes. it's tedious, repetitive and "replayable" (cuz its a death loop). Everyone has their own tastes though.
