I was wondering if the next gen consoles had any new games that made it worth to buy ? And are the performance boosts life changing or just a small upgrade ?

If you buy an xbox at least, then its life changing
It depends on what games interest you and if anything about your current system bothers you. For example, I sold my PS4 Pro yesterday and ordered a PS5 which I'm currently waiting to be delivered. Why? Because I really hate how loud my PS4 Pro was. Even after a clean and thermal paste replacement, if I play something like God of War 2018, it still sounds like a jet. Plus I managed to sell it while it still had some value and shed off half the price of the PS5. In terms of games, you can still wait. I can't say anything about Xbox.
I think around about now is the time to buy one. I think Xbox is actually the better console for next year but nobody will agree with me. Starfield and new Forza make it the stand out choice for me.
In reality though no console has any games hardly dedicated to just that console. But I think in the next couple of years that will change. Apparently the prices are going up on them as well
Go for the ps5. The the PlayStation exclusive games on there are just too good
Get a Quest 2 and buy Into The Radius...fab game!
Totally agree with this in my opinion.
Reccomend a 4k TV/monitor with HDMI 2.1 if you can. Pointless getting all that power from next gen if you only use half of it. It made hell of a difference from my 8 year old 1080p TV when I upgraded.
How did you sell your PS4 Pro?

Yep, get it, took me ages to get one but I definitely don't regret it, many games run a lot smoother, even 360 ones. You also get extra graphics/performance options in some newer games. The one game that actually made me go and buy the next gen console was DayZ, it ran so poorly on Xbox One but it's absolutely fine on the Series S console 👍
If you have yourself a 4k TV and want 60fps..or even 120fps at whatever res....YES buy a PS5
At £450...its a no brainer to have PC level performance which costs about 3 times as much. There's a noticable difference between graphics quality, res, fps etc.
You'll appreciate the higher fps...wouldn't really be able to go back down. Some intense games were 30fps..at the time that's all I had and it was "normal". Went to 60fps and it was a huge difference. 120fps is a different ball game altogether.
Resolution also looks mesmerising but I feel after a while.. it becomes your "normal"
The good thing is, it's NOT a sacrifice of your PS4 legacy. It's not "one or the other". It's a continuation. All your PS4 games would work on it. Save data is transferable. This is one of the reasons I upgraded. Even if you haven't got a PS4..it isn't the end of the world as PS4 games are cheap, especially used. Also 90% of my library are free games dished out every month. I have probably close to 3 figures. And there's tonnes of good games for FREE.
The best thing is, the upgraded SSD options are far cheaper and quicker than the Xbox memory cards. I have 825GB + 1TB external SSD which cost me £100. It feels like original storage too bec nothing sticks out of your console.
Moreover PSVR2 is around the corner..the best VR to date by far. Really exciting!
In my country, there's a site called OLX. It's for reselling stuff. A bit like Ebay in America, but less shady I guess. I've bought and sold many things there over the last couple years. I put it up for like 2-3 hours and had someone interested. So I shipped it to them and in order for them to take it home from the courier's office, they need to pay the money we agreed on and then I take the money from the local office near me. It's clean and simple.

No. They actually perform worse than an Atari 2600. The games are just blocks moving around the screen at about 1 frame per second. Also, they have dollar bill slots that you have to insert $5 everytime you turn it on, otherwise it kicks you in the nuts. So...i'd stick with your last gen console.
