As the question says - is 360 still worth to buy? I found ones that are very cheap and I'm eager to buy the console but...

Is it worth it in 2022? Multiplayer still works on it?

I played on PC my whole life but i want to try console gaming.

Unless you are looking for a very specific game that is not on Backward Compatible, you are better getting an Xbox Series S or a One (One if you have interest in the kinect). but most of the big names were either re-released or are on the backward compatibility list.

Buy one for the exclusives.

Just mod it and it can be an emulation machine as well.

Well an RGH 360 is definitely a better option. You can't mod an Xbox One unfortunately.

For a nostalgia run: yes

For games and stuff: no, use backwards compatibility

If there's a game your looking for that isn't backwards compatible, then yeah

Not with back compat on Xbox 1. Lot of apps no longer work like Netflix or Amazon on ours when we last turned it on.

Still got a good amount of exclusive games that haven't been added to the current xbox systems like the entire indy library and a lot of the "HD" ports

Only reason I’d ever want one is to be able to play Left4Dead again hahah

If your gonna get an Xbox 360 I recommend getting a lot of single player games just coz a lot of multiplayer isn’t active or around anymore

I can't say it is. The UI and load times are so slow compared to today's standards and as far as I know, all the games on 360 can be played on xbox one. And xbox one can play next gen titles currently (I think?)

Depends on how cheap it is and how not-powerful (old) is your PC. A lot of the most interesting X360 games are back compat on newer XBoxes and you get a bunch of added features with that like higher resolutions or framerates on many of them (and no performance issues, which happen occassionally on the original X360).

Make a list of X360 games that are interesting to you, check if they are back compat in XOne and XSeries and then compare console prices. Try to get newer hardware if the games will run and your budget allows.

A bog standard laptop with an Intel Iris 645 from 2018 has 800odd GFLOPs of GPU performance. An Xbox 360 has 240. Does this answer your question? Stick to the PC.

Edit: Why is this being downvoted? A PC will have cheaper games and more longevity/use cases
