I've had my PS4 Pro since 2017, and I have some great memories with it. But my friend switched to a Xbox Series S, and I was wondering whether I should upgrade to one. One of the reasons is because NBA 2K23 isn't crossplatform, so even if I did get 2K23 on my PS4 Pro, I wouldn't be able to play with him.

Nah dude buy a series x, series s has half the storage of older consoles and its full digital, so yeah just get a series x and gamepass

It you have the money why not both, the Series S has good sales and it wouldn't be a big deal. Personally I'd get the X bc I think the S is a bad investment long term. That console is gonna be weak and limited in a few years when they start really making big games for this gen.

Possibly the stupidest reason ever to switch consoles. Plus the Xbox series S is meant for online play an online game downloads so you would be moving from physical games to digital only. It’s a console that was largely useful for Xbox game pass.

No don't switch whatever you do, you have a very small reason it's expensive and ps is better than xbox

Don't buy a new console for a sports game that comes out every year. Check if there are any other games that interest you on it in the long run. Otherwise it isn't worth it.

If he has to pay $10 a month for gold to play online anyways then we are talking another $60 a year to have access to a TON of other good titles for the new xbox That's so worth it and barely anything.
