Depends on what you like to play, PlayStation currently has the best exclusive games, especially when it comes to the single player experience. Xbox is promising exclusive games this year but they also promised that last year and didn't deliver and pissed a lot of their fans off. Xbox does have the advantage in multi-player games and then there's Game Pass which is what a lot of people love. So it comes down to what you want to play. Do you want single player exclusive bangers or multi-player experiences and a lot of indies on game pass. Game Pass also gets all of Microsoft first party exclusives too. PlayStation plus is okay too though just no Sony day and date exclusives

I wonder why people can't be bothered to use the search function to see all of the other same questions.

Buy whatever you want, not what someone else wants you to buy

I'd usually say it depends on the games but the XBox One plays all the same games as Series X.

I'd say go with PS5 to expand your library now and then upgrade to Series X later to make your Xbox games look better

The ps5 is good for exclusives and its controllers, but the xbox has a really good web browser, game pass and backwards compatibility.

It really depends on whether you want to play exclusive games or play older games tbh

For me, PS5. It's just honestly better in games. This year were gonna have Spider Man 2.The only good thing in Xbox is the gamepass. Cheap, affordable, a lot of games.

Some people just want to be included in the discussion. The Fact he pointed out how often this question has been asked makes me think they did do that or they don't know how to use reddit.

Since you had used a one x, i recommend a series x, but if you didnt like using the one x then you can get a ps5

The answer I always give to this question is, depends on the games. You buy a video game console to play video games and each system offers games that cannot be found on the other. So check those, compare and you will have an easier time deciding.
