As per title. I'm taking a flight from Sharjah to India on and Air India flight. I want to put my PS3 and controllers in my check in baggage but will that be a problem? I'd appreciate some clarification.

Make sure that when you pack your ps3 in your check in bag, pad it. You need to be comfortable with tossing your luggage about 2-3 meters away and 1-2 meters high. They will put your check in on in a luggage cart, lift it by the handle and will hammer throw that bitch onto the cargo conveyor belt.

Yep lasers, The disks are read by a laser on a rail, moved by a servo motor

The disk in it might save it from rattling around too much

ive never been to india, But in canada i can buy a ps3 and controllers for 40$ and a pack of smokes If you are moving there permenently mabye buy a new one there

Otherwise use your clothes to pack the console, Wrap it in your shirts seperate from the controllers, And leave a cheap CD in it, That will help protect the lasers

Lasers? Also yes I live there I've just left it in sharjah till now at my dad's place but figured it would be fun to have in college.
