While 2 hours into playing, my ps5 turned itself off. It has since not turned on. Here are the trouble shooting steps I have taken.

-Removed cover and used compressed air to clear dust on fan and airflow ports.

-Used power cord on ps3. Ps3 turned on

-Used ps3 power cord on PS5. No power

-Unplugged everything from the PS5 left it alone for around an hour

-plugged just the power cord in and didn't try to turn it on for about 2 hours

-held power button. No noise or fan movement.

-tried to remove fan for deeper cleaning. Can't remove have the wrong size bit for two screws.

Is there anything else to try before submitting a ticket to Sony. I don't know if we are under a warranty or not so I'm trying to save money if I can.

Have you tried another ps5 power cord the ps3 cord might not be powerful enough for the ps5

I know its not the best for it. Unfortunately it's the only way it will work with our current entertainment center it's what we gotta do.

That's odd but I'll give it a shot once the baby takes a nap

Is the baby using the power cord?

ofcourse, only way the baby naps is to unplug it for a while, I call it the 'cooldown stage'

The battery life on the baby isn't the best so I gotta keep him plugged in until nap time. Gotta call customer service about it.

God damn, glad to see you can joke about stuff like that. most people/ friends I know if you try to joke about their baby or their wife/husband they become defensive instead of rolling with the joke like you. BIG respect dudeπŸ”₯πŸ™Œ you seem like you'll be a great dad and hope you get that ps5 sorted πŸ˜„
