There's so many exclusives on Xbox, mainly Bethesda, bioware and fable games. These also happen to be my favourite games of all time, Fable 2, Fallout: New Vegas and Mass Effect 2 being my favourites from each studio. Seeing as one of the main releases from these studios will be starfield, should I spend extra on a series X or settle for a series S?

Xbox series s if you don't want it for the graphics or stuff get the series s (maybe a memory card aswell) I highly reccomend

If you can't afford a PC, get a Series X. It performs better than the Series S. It also has more memory and accepts disks. Buying the proprietary memory expansion for the Series S brings the overall cost close to the Series X. That plus the long term savings from buying disks over digital will likely make the Series X a cheaper and better performing option over the course of the generation.

Again this only if you can't afford a PC. Xbox doesn't have any real exclusives. PC gives you access to Xbox games, PC games, mods and household utility.

Personally I would get the Series X if you can swing it. I think it's worth it if you take good care of your consoles and keep them for years. I know my Series X will last but I don't believe the S is future proof based on the significantly weaker internals. As games progress and developers take advantage of the new systems I think the S will start to be a hindrance years down the road.
