I own a PC that is smaller than a Series X, works with a Xbox controller and is set up on my TV which allows me to play games, watch movies, search the web etc from my sofa. Also, I don't need to buy a console and a PC, so it saves money and space. So that makes your points 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 moot.

Having said that, allow me to add to your list. 1.Consoles have far better support for friends, chats / groups, achievements, making them a more social experience out if the box. 2. Games run well without having to tweak settings.

As far as I'm concerned, the controller does not allow you to fully use your PC. For instance, if I'd like to open Steam or any other launcher I'd still need to use Mouse and Keyboard to open the launcher and game before I'm actually using the controller.

What are the specs of this computer? I really doubt it's any better than a PS5/XSX. And how much did it cost?

ZS A4 V2 Case, with a 5800X3D and a 4070 Ti. It costs a fair bit more than any console, but I love it!

Yeah, this is not economically viable where I live but it actually is a pretty good setup if you can afford it

It takes 5 seconds for me to select the option for my computer to boot into big picture mode whenever i turn it on, which means I very rarely use my mouse and keyboard and that’s only when i want to use it for something other than gaming…..

I assume you make shortcuts via steam right? That's actually a pretty good setup

You can add a non steam game to steam and it will automatically open the required app for you in the background, still more work than a console but you can get it to that point.

I would argue PC has superior social options than console, integrated chat system into most multiplayer games and discord imo being better than what consoles currently offer
