I hate to be that guy but....

  1. Value to performance when buying everything new consoles are cheaper, but PCs being upgradable without having to replace everything brings hardware costs down over time, games on PC are also cheaper

  2. Building a PC is incredibly simple, anyone who can follow basic directions can do it, it's like Legos

  3. PCs have more controller options than consoles

  4. While the set up can be more complicated, you can set it up to have a very console like experience

  5. PC can connect to to virtually any screen

  6. You can put a PC in your living room and play from a couch or chair

  7. PCs don't really take up any more space than a console

  8. There are many form factors for PCs, many of which are smaller than modern consoles, and because you can connect it to any screen you don't need to bring anything more with a PC

Also I would like to add that with the growth of the emulation community you can play any console games you want to, with the right settings you can emulate the full console experience, including, but not limited to, using original physical media bought legitimately through the common ways
