As an avid PC gamer, these are the benefits of consoles:

• Exclusive games

• Generally a better couch co op experience (better support mostly, especially for Nintendo Switch)

• Specifically the Nintendo Switch is portable (Steam Deck is an alternative, but with how good Nintendo exclusives are I prefer the Switch, Switch has the added benefit of the joy cons being separate controllers so you can play co op without a TV or power hookup)

• Competitive online games usually have fewer hackers (this is more relevant for older online games, new games (games being actively supported or came out within the last few years) don't usually have hackers on PC as well, but as a game gets older hacking becomes more common on PC especially)
