When i start my Xbox Series S, it’s completely fine until i open a game. After i open the game i get a static screen where i need to unplug my Tv then plug it back in. After that everything works fine even if i start a different game or app, but then after the xbox turns off i have to do it again the next time i want to play.

It’s not the TV as it still happens on different monitors, not the HDMI as i’ve used multiple. Also not the HDMI port as the previous Series S i had did the same.

It’s nothing major but it’s becoming a inconvenience to do every time i come on. Wondered if anyone knew a fix.

Sounds like a defective console. Is it still under warranty? Even if not you should contact Xbox support for repair options.

Are you playing at an exotic resolution? What you are saying doesn't make a whole lot of sense? What are you unplugging from the TV, the power or HDMI cable?

Unplug the Tv power at the mains, then plug it back in, then turn it on. Works fine after that

Are you using a switcher, this might fix your problem.
I've heard of some xbox's working better with switcher because of a power issue.
